These Internet service providers have announced that they are planning to, or already have, launched 1 Gig speeds in select cities. Cox Communications has chosen Dallas/Fort Worth as their first destination of 1 Gig speeds. AT&T launched these speeds in Austin, Texas late last year and have chosen to expand the service to:

- Carrboro, North Carolina
- Cary, North Carolina
