- A Christmas Story (1983) stars Peter Billingsley as Ralphie, a young boy who just wants a Red Ryder B.B. gun for Christmas.
- Elf (2003) is the tale of Buddy the elf (Will Ferrell) and his journey from the North Pole to the U.S. to find his true identity.
- Home Alone (1990) is a classic holiday movie about an 8-year-old boy, played by Macaulay Culkin, who accidentally gets left behind when his family goes to France for Christmas.
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) is a modern-day twist on the Dr. Seuss classic of a grouchy, green creature (played by Jim Carrey) who tries to steal Christmas.
- Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966) is the classic TV short that is narrated by Boris Karloff, who also voices the Grinch.
- The Santa Claus (1994) stars funny-man Tim Allen who plays a man who unintentionally kills Santa and is recruited to take his place.
- It’s a Wonderful Life (1946) is more than just a holiday classic; starring Donna Reed who shows a discouraged businessman (James Stewart) that despite his frustrations, it really is a wonderful life.
- Love Actually (2003) is set in London, England and follows eight different couples’ love lives which are loosely interrelated throughout the month before Christmas.
- Four Christmases (2008) stars Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon who visit their four divorced parents all on Christmas Day.
- The Holiday (2006) is a story about two women (Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet) who fall in love after swapping houses in one another’s countries after experiencing guy-problems in their home country.
- Adam Sandler’s 8 Crazy Nights (2002) is more of a grown-up film that stars Adam Sandler, Brooks Arthur, and Allen Covert.
